If you’re interested in arts marketing – from practice and theory, to research, education, and everything in between – come and join us at this symposium and participate in the conversations and workshops.

What the Symposium is about

This year’s Arts Marketing symposium will feature papers, talks, performances and workshops by a mixture of academic speakers, and practitioners, contributing their experience of the professional world of arts marketing.

Event details:

The event will be held on the de Havilland campus on Wednesday 8th June, with registration at 9.30am, and concluding with networking and discussions at 5pm.

This year’s event includes talks and discussions on marketing:

• Popular music
• Opera
• Cinema
• Theatre

Plus workshops on:

• World percussion music
• Art expression

Contributors include:

• Ray Sylvester – Buckinghamshire University
• Iain Fraser – University of Abertay
• Maria Thomas – the Music Workshop Company
• London Calling
• Jake Morley – musician

An exhibition of student work from the Marketing for Creative & Cultural Industries module will be on display throughout the event.
